Schlereth & Evans – 4/29/16 – Today’s show focused on the craziness that was the NFL Draft last night. Mark and Mike talked Elway’s move up to draft who they hope to be the future, Memphis QB Paxton Lynch. They also dove into Laremy Tunsil’s roller coaster ride as he fell hard in the first round. The guys are joined by a trio of guests that include Former Broncos Safety John Lynch, NFL Insider Chad Brown and 104.3 The Fan’s own Alfred Williams.

Hour One kicked off with impressions of the bold move made by the Broncos last night to move up 5 spots to grab Memphis QB Paxton Lynch with the 26th overall pick.  

Morning Brew consisted of more Paxton Lynch chatter that included comments made by Broncos GM about selecting the QB as well as what happened behind the scenes to be able to move up to pick him. Laremy Tunsil’s eventful draft night closed out the Morning Brew. 

Stink and Mike closed the first hour with some discussion about the guys who fell out of the first round because teams were scared off by injury issues.

Hour two popped off with Stink’s “Clear The Air” where he lets loose on the folks who feel sorry for Laremy Tunsil in relation to his draft night debacle that occurred last evening. Check out Stink give it to those people BELOW:

Our own Big Al from The Drive joins the guys to boast about him predicting correctly the Broncos selecting QB Paxton Lynch in the first round last night.The guys talk about him winning a bet against ESPN’s Adam Schefter over Lynch being selected in the first round as well as his thoughts on what the Broncos should do with the rest of their draft picks tonight and tomorrow. 4 Down Territory filled the back half of the middle hour where the fellas talked more Paxton Lynch, what the Broncos should do in the draft tonight and tomorrow, Laremy Tunsil’s admittance to accepting money while at Ole Miss and reaction to the other players that were selected in the first round.

The final hour of the week heard the guys being joined first by NFL Insider Chad Brown to get his take on the first round of the NFL draft which included Ezekiel Elliott’s silly mid-drift shirt, his impressions on Paxton Lynch as a player, when he thinks Lynch becomes the starter and what needs he thinks the Broncos will address with the rest of their draft picks. Stink and Mike were then joined by beloved former Bronco and future Hall of Fame Safety John Lynch to talk his impressions on Paxton Lynch and Elway’s decision to move up as well as what it takes to build a championship team. He and Stink also spent some time recollecting when they played against one another in 1999 where Lynch hit Stink so hard it caused Stink to threaten to cut Lynch next time he tried to blitz on him.
