Plenty Of Spots Are Up For Grabs In Camp: C.J. and Stokley

C.J. and Stokley – 07/26/2016 – C.J. and Stokley were live in studio. Tuesday’s show the guys talk about the Broncos position battles, what free agents could make an impact on the Broncos, which rookies will see the field this season, and the latest news from the Colorado Rockies. Voice of Rockies, Drew Goodman joins the show to discuss the latest surrounding the Rockies.

C.J. and Brandon Stokley start Tuesday’s show to talk about Chris Sale’s comments yesterday about his reasoning for his actions of cutting up the jersey. Is management more about selling jerseys or winning games and where can the athlete draw the line? 

The guys listen to the interview with Paxton Lynch from training camp. They break down what Paxton needs to do make strides in training camp, the third wide receiver spot, the full back, the tight end position, defensive end and the inside linebacker spot.

Hour two kicks off with C.J. and Stokley discussing the remaining free agents that are still available that the Broncos should look to add. Stokley mentions a couple guys that he wants to see but makes it known they must be good locker room guys. Dwight Freeney and Donte Whitner are a couple names that were mentioned. 

The guys chat about which players around the league that need to step up this year and prove their worth. Much of conversation is centered around Andrew Luck. Drew gives his take on who has the advantage in inter-league games. With the trade deadline approaching, the guys discuss that topic with Drew and who the Rockies could look to move. The fellas close out Tuesday’s show to talk about the position battles going into camp. Outside of the the obvious quarterback watch, the Broncos have battles at running back, tight end, full back, the number three wide receiver, defensive end, inside linebacker and punter.
