Schlereth & Evans – 7/26/16 – Stink and Evans spent the majority of Tuesday’s show reviewing comments made by a few Broncos rookies as they reported to their first training camp a few days ahead of the Veterans. They also discuss the heartbreaking loss the Rockies suffered in Baltimore last night and Peyton Manning being completely cleared of HGH allegations. Rockies Insider Patrick Saunders and ESPN’s John Clayton both join the show to discuss their respective areas of expertise.

LISTEN TO HOUR ONE HERE!

Hour one begins with Stink and Mike discussing “Champ Camp” beginning tomorrow as well as they rookies that had to report a few days early.

They then moved on to the Morning Brew where they discussed more Broncos rookies, Peyton being exonerated by the NFL, the Rockies losing in extra innings to the Orioles and Micheal Jordan’s massive monetary donations in relation to the recent police violence.

They close the hour talking more rookies and which of the three that spoke yesterday they believe will have the earliest impact on the field.

LISTEN TO HOUR TWO HERE!

Hour two begins with Stink’s famed “Clear The Air” segment where he  pleads with Rockies brass to trade Jorge De La Rosa right now and get maximum value out of him while he’s still worth something. Check out Stink plead his case BELOW:
Rockies insider Patrick Saunders then joined the show to discuss everything Rockies a week before the trade deadline. They discuss the possibility that Jorge De La Rosa gets traded this season, what his impressions of David Dahl’s debut were last night, and why he believes the Rockies are building for the 2017 season and more or less pushing this season to wayside. Check out our conversation with Patrick HERE!

ESPN’s John Clayton the joins the show at the bottom of the hour to talk all of the biggest news and stories from around the NFL as training camps are getting under way across the country. John and the guys chat Broncos QB situation and Trevor Siemian’s realistic chances of winning the starting job, if he believes Denver’s defense can help them go back to back, his out look on Carolina without some their former star players and how many games he thinks the Patriots will win without Tom Brady under center. Listen to the guys chat with John HERE!

LISTEN TO HOUR THREE HERE!

Hour three begins with the guys replaying disputing John Clayton’s comments that he believes Denver’s 2015 SB winning defense is only the 6th or 7th best defense in the history of the NFL. They try and decipher which other legendary defenses from the past could possible be put in front of the 2015 Broncos.

They then move into a little of the offensive woes from last year and which guy or guys will really have to step up and help the offense get better which will in turn help the defense.

Hour three closes with Stink describing how vital the running games were to his 3 Super Bowl victories and that C.J. Anderson and the Offensive Line must provide a similar landscape for this team to have a chance at repeating.
