Talib and Ware Placed on Non-Football Injurt List: CJ and Stokley

C.J. and Stokley – 07/27/2016 – C.J. and Brandon Stokley are live in studio. Monday’s show the guys talked about Aqib Talib and DeMarcus Ware being placed on the non-football injury list, Nick Foles being released by the Rams, the 2005 Broncos compared to this season’s team and Broncos champ camp starting tomorrow. Cecil Lammey joined the fellas in the third hour of the show.

Hour one C.J. and Brandon Stokley talk about the Broncos defense last year and how they shake out coming into this season. C.J. and Brandon Stokley look at and ask the question of was last year’s Broncos defense a great historic defense or was it just a great run for the defense? C.J. gives his thoughts on whether or not that’s the case. Brandon Stokley also gives his opinion and breaks down last season’s Broncos defense. The guys rank the all-time great defenses and analyze how the Broncos stack up against the all-time great defenses.

To wrap up the hour C.J. and Brandon Stokley look at the 2005 Denver Broncos and if this season’s Broncos can replicate a little of what the 05′ Broncos did that year. C.J. and Brandon Stokley go down each position on the 05′ Broncos and compare those players to the current batch of Denver Broncos. C.J. thinks this season the Broncos can find success running the football and emulating the 2005 Broncos. Brandon Stokley disagrees and gives his counter point to why that’s not the case with this season’s Broncos team.

Hour two C.J. and Stokley get into some of the news of the day as Broncos corner back Aqib Talib and defensive lineman DeMarcus Ware will start training camp on the non-football injury list. Talib is recovering from a gunshot wound he sustained this off-season while DeMarcus Ware try’s to recover from a back injury. The guys break down what that means for the Broncos at the start of camp.

Broncos GM John Elway and Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak spoke to the media at Dove Valley. The fellas listened to those press conferences live. The guys then break down some of what both men had to say including some of Gary Kubiak’s comments about the Broncos quarterback situation. C.J. and Brandon Stokley break that down and more. The guys finish the hour sorting out some of Gary Kubiak’s comments and look at the Broncos starting quarterback situation.

Hour three Broncos linebacker Von Miller talked to the media at Dove Valley. C.J. and Brandon Stokley listen to  his press conference live. The guys then react to some of Von’s comments and what season we should expect him to have now that he has been locked up long term.

C.J. and Brandon Stokley also get into some more news of the day as according to reports former Ravens wide receiver Marlon Brown will sign with the Denver Broncos. Brandon Stokley breaks down what the Broncos are getting as Stokley played in Baltimore with Marlon Brown. Brandon Stokley also gives some of Brown’s stats and how many touchdowns he could have coming to Denver.

To wrap up hour three Cecil Lammey joined C.J. and Brandon Stokley. Cecil Lammey weighs in on Nick Foles being released by the Rams and if the Broncos should think about bringing him to compete for the starting quarterback job. Cecil discusses what he thinks about some of Gary Kubiak’s comments about the Broncos quarterback situation. Plus, Cecil gets into Aqib Talib and DeMarcus Ware being placed on the non-football injury list. Listen to the full interview HERE!
