Hour one C.J. and Stokley talk about the latest from Broncos champ camp. C.J. and Brandon Stokley break down the Broncos quarterback battle and who seemed to be the better player on day 2 of training camp. The guys get into what the Broncos need at quaterback in 2016-2017 in order to be successful and try to repeat as Super Bowl champions.
The fellas then talk about the turnout of fans on day 2 of camp compared to day 1. C.J. and Brandon Stokley were happy about the turnout of fans on day 2 of camp. The guys also go into what kind of fan turnout there might be this weekend at Dove Valley.
The guys wrap up the hour discussing training camp fights. Brandon Stokley shares some of his training camp stories of teammates getting into fights with each other. Brandon Stokley talks about which players that he played with that he would get really heated at.
Hour two C.J. and Brandon Stokley continue to talk more about day 2 of Broncos champ camp. The guys discuss the Broncos running back situation. Who will back up C.J. Anderson at running back? Or can anyone beat out C.J. Anderson as the Broncos starting running back? The fellas break down how Devontae Booker, Ronnie Hillman and Kapri Bibbs have looked so far out at Dove Valley.
Our Fan Football Insider Cecil Lammey joined C.J. and Stokley. Cecil Lammey breaks down how day 2 of camp was attendance wise and who won the quarterback battle on day 2. Cecil Lammey gets into what he saw from both Mark Sanchez and Trevor Siemian looked today out at Dove Valley. Listen to the full interview HERE!
For the rest of the hour the guys talk more about Mark Sanchez and what other defense could look to do against him this season if he’s the starting quarterback. C.J. explains why he thinks if teams stack the box against Sanchez that’ll be a good thing for him. Brandon Stokley argues that stacking the box against Sanchez would hurt him.
Hour three kicks off with more Broncos running back discussion. C.J. and Brandon Stokley talk about which running backs they want to see starting as well as on the Broncos 53 man roster this season. Also, more about defenses possibly stacking the box against C.J. Anderson and how that could effect the way any of the Broncos quarterbacks play this season.
Then the guys get into their champ camp quarterback leader board. Brandon Stokley weighs in on who he wants to see right now be the Broncos starting quarterback week 1 of the season. C.J. stays on his original opinion of wanting to see Mark Sanchez as the Broncos starting quarterback against the Panthers.
To wrap up the show Brandon Stokley gives some of his training camp stories back when he broke into the NFL with the Baltimore Ravens. Brandon Stokley talks about what it’s like to be a rookie right now in camp for the Broncos.
