The Sports Family Club is dedicated to getting children involved in youth sports and activities to improve their health, development and well being.

The Sports Family Club, a local non-profit, is going to enrich the lives of children in Peru by providing them used baseball gear. This gear would either sit in a garage, shed or end up in the trash. We want to give kids a chance to learn baseball and improve their lives. Last year we shipped gear to kids in Dallas and this year we're sending gear to Peru.

The Sports Family Club, based in Boulder, has collected used baseball gear from local youth leagues and is planning to ship it to the poverty stricken area of La Libertad, Trujillo, Peru.

Shipping to Peru is very expensive and we need your help. If you or your company is interested in helping with this effort please visit www.thesportsfamilyclub.org and click on "Donate here and support our mission". Anything will help! Please give what you can to improve the lives of the less fortunate through sports.

Please support a local non-profit looking to make the lives of underprivileged children a little better with a small donation.

Your donation is 100% tax deductible and we will send you a picture of the kids playing ball.

If your child plays baseball or any sport, think of the joy in doing so and help us share that joy.

The Sports Family Club’s Mission

The Sports Family Club’s mission is to foster positive growth pathways for children through sports and activities. In collaboration with schools, organizations, communities, professionals and parents, The Sports Family Club hopes to develop a healthy environment so all children may participate in youth sports and activities to a higher level than currently possible. The Sports Family Club fosters empowerment in adults involved with youth sports and activities to maintain the proper perspective that youth sports are for and about children. The goals within our educational offerings are simple and forthright. Our top priority is developing the child participant’s confidence, self-esteem and respect for all involved with the particular game. We believe in fostering a passion for the activity through enjoyment, not just results.

The Sports Family Club's Vision

The Sports Family Club’s vision is that children will enjoy sports for what they are: games! It is our goal that children will reap the many benefits of sports and activities and improve their overall health, development and well being. The Sports Family Club is committed to ensuring that our sports and physical activities will result in positive character building, team work, overcoming adversity and provide an opportunity to make friends for life. The Sports Family Club works to see that through sports, childhood obesity, delinquency and other risks of childhood will be ameliorated, thereby being less of a burden on society. We look to sports and physical activities to provide a positive impact on children, families and communities.
